Abandoned Animals

Abandoned, dogs, pets, puppies

Out of our belief that all animals deserve to be treated humanely, receiving abandoned animals at the Humane Center for Animal welfare became one of our greatest concerns.

Most of the pets arriving at the Center have been brought in by the general public, either because they have been found injured, unwanted or stray and homeless.

Citizens from all over the country report abuse cases to the Center, they call HCAW once they witness any type of cruelty or abuse. HCAW is always willing to help but, the bad news is that HCAW has limited manpower resources and no spare vehicle to go and save those valuable souls.

The moment the animals arrive to our Center they are carefully handled. Their physical health is checked by our professional vets and they get any required treatment. If any signs of temperament problems arise, our experienced animal handlers will attempt to identify and resolve them.
